Today’s Episode: Clarification
Hey Everybody!
A couple of days ago, one of those wonderful little robots that trolls the internet found my little site here and proceeded to spam be bejeesus out of it. As a result, I have activated a CAPTCHA system that I have been told, doesn’t work very well. So, if you want to comment, but can’t, then feel free to drop me a line at : johnsanford@earthlink.net.
I love getting e-mail! Go ahead!
Thanks, and sorry!

Haha, I love fat loopus’ jogging top and cap. Can’t wait for the rest of this to play out, it’s been a long time coming!
I’ve caught up on the previous posts now, loved the shots of your desk and set up. I was interested to see the size these things are created at. For some reason I always imagined them being smaller, but I think thats because of the smaller origins of the strip.

Thanks Gareth! I was going to call it quits on this story, but I’m glad I haven’t, as I’m having fun with it again. I just hope the new readers go through the archives to find out what’s going on. I like these versions of the characters so much that you can plan on seeing them again.
The size of the strip has evolved a bit and has finally chrystallized. I was drawing 2″x 8″, then I was drawing a full page on an 8″x10″ sheet of paper, but then I needed a little more space when I switched to brush and ink. Now the panels are about 4″ high, and with these longer strips, I work on 10″x14″ lightweight bristol, and for the 4 panel strips I work on pre-printed comic strip boards measureing roughly 6″ x 15″ with and image size of about 4″x 13″. I like the pre-printed comic strip boards ’cause I’m lazy and can’t rule panel borders for shit. The blue guide lines cut the margin for error considerably.

Wow, John! You imported it all, including the comments. Nice! Now handel’s infamous tirades can continue to live on in… well, infamy. Glad to see you back at the strip! I am following your twisted plot lines and still lovin’ these characters like they were old friends.

Hey Lee Roy! Good to hear from you again! Yes, importing the content of both blogs was surprisingly easy, as there are actions and lots of directions to tell you how! I have gone through and weeded out a few non-comics posts, but for the most part everything is here, intact, including the rants and tirades of one Steve “Handel” Garcia (did I mention that I know who he is?) of Austin, Texas. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m glad to see you are still on board and still enjoying the strip!
