Hi, first time poster here! Love the strip so far, can’t wait to get to know the characters better and see what kind of wacky mischief they get into!

Loopus’s way has a charm to it, that is for sure. I know people who seem to employ this method on a daily basis.
Scott!! You big kidder you! I read your comment and was totally confused for about 5 minutes! “But..he posts here all the time! Maybe someone else is signing on on his account!” Then I detected the rather tongue in cheek nature and went..”Oh..OH!!! Right!!! Hahahahahah!”
You see, a lot of folks read my rants on twitter and Facebook and say “Oh. Chippy is obviously based on him”. Not so!!! I hate to admit this, but more often then not, I wander through life in a Loopus-like haze. I can be remarkably dense about rather obvious things.
While I’m on the subject, I don’t think EITHER character is someone you’d like to be. Yes, Chippy is super strong and an excellent fighter, but he lacks foresight, has a terrible temper and is supernaturally rude. His saving grace is that ultimately, he wants to do what is right.
Loopus has a gentle heart and is good natured but holy shit is he stupid. However, in his stupidity, he has achieved a measure of almost zen-like peace. I love these guys, as any cartoonist should love their characters, but I wouldn’t want to be either of them, even though there are times when I share their attributes (I have lost my temper like Chippy and done things that are almost Loopus-like in their stupidity.)
Side note: Girls seem to really dig Chippy, while guys generally prefer Loopus. Not sure why.
